Mathsoc brings together students who either do a Maths degree, like Maths, or just love a good night out.
Socials
Socials are at the core of the society. The name of the society is ‘Mathsoc', but the socials are very much run like sports socials. The socials bring together like-minded people to have a good time; the common link just happens to be Maths. The aim is to run socials every other week, mainly on a Monday bobbies to accommodate those going to mischief, with the occasional Full-Fat Thursday. There will also be some wholesome sober activities throughout the year run by the welfare sec!
Membership
Membership is £13 per year! If you want to join one of our sports teams, then this will only cost you an extra £10, and so is one of the cheapest ways to play sport at the University. There are often also free drinks and discount ticket links supplied by the society on nights out, so it is also a cheaper night out!
