Welcome to Darts
All abilities welcome – from experienced players to those who have never picked up a dart, LUU Darts offers something for everyone. Whether you want to get involved in our weekly tournaments and competitions against other universities, or just come down to throw some darts and have a pint, join us at our weekly social events every Monday at the New Moorside Club, LS6 2PW, close to campus. Our weekly Monday socials regularly attract over 100 people and involve tournaments, games and FREE pizza.
We have three teams in the UDUK Northern Universities Darts League with fixtures played throughout the year. Away days against York, Sheffield, Hallam and Beckett are highlights of the year for many - karaoke on the bus and plenty of pints consumed.
There is also the opportunity to enter darts events across England run by the UDUK throughout the year, as a single player and/ or as a team with fellow society members.
Membership is only £10 for the entire year and includes access to all Monday night socials and some subsidy for match travel & kit.
