Ice Skating Society is a student‑run group for anyone who loves ice skating, from complete beginners to advanced skaters. The society aims to make it easy and affordable to skate regularly at Planet Ice Leeds by organising shared travel and group bookings for both public sessions and patch (private) ice. Members can come along to skate purely for fun, to build confidence on the ice, or to train and work towards personal goals with the support of friends. Alongside skating sessions, we hope to run a mix of sober and non‑sober socials and optional off‑ice conditioning so that members can get to know each other, stay active, and build a welcoming community around the sport.
