For the Iftar we want people to donate non-perishable food items to STAR's donation drive inside the co-op in the union.
Examples of what to donate:
- tinned meat and fish
- Dried lentils and chickpeas
- Tinned beans
- Tinned vegetables/ sweetcorn
- Tinned fruit
- Tinned custard/ rice pudding
- Pasta/ rice
- Pot noodles/ microwave rice
- Biscuits/ sweets/ crisps
The donations go to PAFRAS, who work with asylum seekers, and Rainbow Junktion, who work with people from a variety of marginalised groups
