We are a group both Buddhists and non-Buddhists who run meditation sessions, discussions, socials and retreats. 

Weekly meditations 

We aim to give anyone a place where they can meet a relaxed community of friendly people, practice meditation and learn more about Buddhism. Currently we are running in-person meetings every Tuesday 5-7pm in room 5 (upstairs in the LUU building) which anyone is welcome to join, whether you’re experienced or new to it. These normally consist of guided meditations, talks, discussions and a chance to chat. All our sessions are free and you don’t have to be a member.  

Note: We have changed the days of our weekly meditations moving them from Thursdays to Tuesdays due to room bookings.

Throughout the year we try to hold day-retreats in Leeds, where we can have a day out and practice meditation together. We also try to hold one longer residential retreat out in the countryside, which people really enjoy, for both developing their meditation practice and making good friends. 


We plan to run multiple socials through the year, such as pot-luck dinners 


Sessions are free so come along to see if a membership suits you first.
