About us:

We are Politics and International Studies Society, also lovingly known as POLISSoc – open to all students who study within the School of Politics and International Studies or who have an interest in politics to socialise and share their experiences and knowledge!

We foster and fund spaces and events for Politics Students to engage with their course mates, as well as their academic interests, through hosting both academic and social events.

Meetings:

We organise trips in the UK and abroad, run our own sports teams and work with the School of POLIS to offer careers advice and opportunities.

Socials:

Our society offers a range of socials to suit everyone within POLIS. This includes our infamous pub quizzes, fun nights out, our secret social and our POLIS trip abroad.

We also cater to those who have a greater interest in academic events, as we organise talks with both internal and external speakers.
