The English Society provides you with fantastic ways to meet other English students away from the limited course contact hours to help you to expand your university experience - both academically and socially.
We offer regular socials, as well as planning career events, UK and international trips, as well as maintaining our EngSoc netball team.
Meetings and Events
The English Society seeks to host a variety of inclusive and interesting events for those with interests in Literature, Theatre, Poetry, Language, and Creative Writing. The Committee meets weekly and welcomes attendance and suggestions from all our members.
Socials
We offer our members regular socials, career events, trips, and active sports teams. We offer a diverse range of socials from club nights to pub quizzes to society balls to a weekly English tea event.
