Welcome to Leeds University Union Medics and Dentists Hockey (LUUMDHC)
We are a friendly and inclusive hockey club scheduled around the Medical student timetable. We train on Friday evenings and host wonderful socials and dinners throughout the year, which almost always finish with Fruity!
LUUMDHC reached the finals of NAMS (National Association of Medical Schools) during the 24/25 season, narrowly missing out the top spot of the league. We run fundraisers throughout the year for Movember and Breast Cancer awareness which has allowed us to donate to such brilliant causes over the past years. Last year, we hosted mini-NAMS, a social weekend of most of the teams in the league of socialising and playing hockey tournaments.
No prior hockey experience is needed to join the team!
