Welcome to LUU Trampoline and Tumble Club

Welcome to Trampoline & Tumble

Whether you're a triple somersaulting pro or a beginner looking to get involved in a new and exciting sport, the LUU Trampoline & Tumble Club wants to hear from you!

Our training sessions are led by British Gymnastics qualified coaches and assisted by trainee coaches. These run every Tuesday from 7-10pm and Thursday 3-5pm in Sports Hall 1b at the Edge gym. The sessions are very casual so you can attend and leave whenever it suits you! If you would like to try out the society, you can come along to a Give it a Go (GIAG) session for free. Annual memberships and per-semester training fees are both available for purchase from our membership and products sections of our engage page respectively - both are needed if you wish to attend the club regularly.

Starting this year we will be running an additional training session taking place at Apollo Leeds. This will be paid per session at ~£8-10. This session will provide access to further high-end trampolines, a double-mini-trampoline and tumble tracks. We will provide coaches for these sessions as well as the gym having an on-site coach. This session is available for however a member decides they wish to train. As a club, however, we are hoping to run these sessions with a greater focus on improving members skills and execution with coaches taking more time to focus on athlete development.

We run socials every single Wednesday where you can get to know members in a more exciting setting and build friendships outside of the sports hall that can make training all that more fun.  We also compete regularly within the Northern English University Trampoline League (NEUT League). They run semi-relaxed competitions throughout the year which are always great fun, and there's always a big social at the end of each one. If you wish to compete in a more formal format, we attend BUCS each year, representing the University of Leeds Nationally.

Socials:

We had a great year of socials last year; from Bunnies and Carrots to Mini Me, we can’t wait to do it all again!

As we’re a sports society, we attend the infamous Mischief Wednesday’s at The Warehouse, where we showcase our fabulous themes and questionable dancing skills.

Last year, our society members enjoyed the range of social themes and opportunities, as we tried to vary between club nights and pub crawls, with sober socials such as wine glass painting thrown in the mix too. Alongside these socials were our annual Christmas meal and our iconic Tramps Ball, which will of course be making a reappearance in the next year.

Coming along to any of the planned events we put on are such a great way to meet new people and form lasting friendships, and we hope that we can provide all this again for those looking to join.

This year, we have more great social themes lined up, and much like last year, are looking to incorporate the club nights with pub crawls and sober socials. These include British Icons (a classic) and Spin the Wheel Movie Nights, with themes like Pirates and Treasure and Explorers and Bugs for those Wednesday nights. We are looking forward to welcoming back old members and getting to know some new faces!
