Our society will be create a space for collaboration amongst students who share interests in the subject of health economics. The society will aim to provide an environment in which people from different backgrounds and studying different courses can share interests, ideas and discuss a multi-faceted and under-taught subject. We also feel this society will reap greater benefits because it is so underrepresented in University teaching. The difference it would make to students understanding of the subject would be relatively greater than a society focussing on a subject already taught in our degrees.
