Welcome to Leeds Medics and Dentists African Caribbean Society (LMDACS)

Leeds Medics and Dentists African-Caribbean Society (LMDACS) is a society that aims to support and empower African-Caribbean students studying Medicine, Dentistry and Healthcare courses at the University of Leeds.

Our main objectives are to educate and inform by holding, interactive events throughout the year with guest speakers, networking with BAME doctors, mock OSCES and debates. We also seek to build a stronger community within the Faculty of Medicine and Healthcare through fun socials like games night, movie nights, other events in collaboration with Leeds ACS, Access to Medicine and much more. We also endeavor take the lead in addressing issues of equality, diversity and inclusion within the faculty and curriculum.
