We are the University of Leeds Rheumatology and Musculoskeletal Medicine Society (LRMMS)!

We're a new student-led society super keen on promoting rheumatology and musculoskeletal medicine.

We aim to:

1) Provide a Leeds-focused platform to increase exposure of rheumatology specialty to medical students, nursing students and allied healthcare students.

2) Raise the profile of rheumatology as a key medical specialty (and challenge negative stereotypes) and champion the role of rheumatology and musculoskeletal medicine in the holistic care of patients.

3) Work with Leeds School of Medicine and School of Healthcare to increase rheumatology and musculoskeletal medicine education via the curricula.

4) Provide opportunities to gain experience in rheumatology and musculoskeletal medicine (research, clinical exposure, internships, electives and mentoring).
