Welcome to Labour

Who are we?

Leeds Labour Society has been the university's student Labour society since its creation in 1966. We are proud of our long history of progressive political activism and strive to continue that legacy so that one day we may live in a society that works for the many not the few.

What do we do?

We aim to mobilise and energise the student labour movement within Leeds.

We mobilise by offering opportunities and support for students to campaign for a more just society whether it be door-knocking, phone-banking or simply leafleting.

We energise by holding events ranging from guest speakers including prominent MPs, to debates and discussions on important relevant issues. And of course, who could forget our socials: the Otley Run, pub quizzes and many sober socials too.

Make sure to follow us on Twitter, Instagram and Facebook to stay up to date with events, socials and more.
