Formation Description

The idea to launch a Magic The Gathering society stems from observing similar groups thriving in other universities across the UK. When we enrolled at the University of Leeds, we anticipated such a community to be in place. However, the absence of one prompted us to take the initiative. Finding fellow players can be quite a challenge without a dedicated space, and even when a community exists, logistical hurdles often hinder gameplay. Magic The Gathering isn't just a card game; it's a means of socializing, making new friends, and forging lasting connections. We firmly believe that our society will offer students with shared interests an excellent platform to socialize, learn, and grow, enriching their university experience while fostering a sense of camaraderie among our diverse student body.
