FirstGen Medics is a student-run society that aims to offer support to medical students that come from a widening participation background during their time at medical school. We want to ensure that all students feel included and have access to all the opportunities available.

Our goal is to provide a helping hand wherever we can. We aim to offer support by exploring how to take advantage of opportunities run by the university, how to get involved in research/attend conferences, build your portfolio, and access bursaries. We also aim to offer academic support to students who are resitting their exams, both in the summer period and those resitting the year.

Everyone is welcome, we are super friendly and approachable! This society is run by FirstGen Medics who want to support you in your medical journey.
