Formation Description

We're passionate students in the school of Media and Communications, and we've seen a real need for a society that brings Digital Media students together. Over the past year, it's become evident that limited opportunities for connection have made it difficult for us to get to know our course mates. We believe that establishing Digisoc is the solution. Our motivation for Digisoc is straightforward: we want to create a space where Digital Media students can meet, make friends, and have fun. We've discussed this idea with our students and lecturer's, and there's a shared enthusiasm for the concept. Additionally, this society existed last year, and was only terminated due to a miscommunication from last year's committee. We have first hand experience that this society works and is well received. By forming Digisoc, we aim to foster a sense of belonging and community among Digital Media students. We're excited about the prospect of making our university experience more enjoyable and enhancing our connections with our course mates. We're proposing Digisoc because we believe it will help build a more connected and vibrant Digital Media community. It's all about creating opportunities for friendships and mutual support.
