*Why We Want to Set Up This Group and Our Aims:* We are driven by a deep commitment to making a meaningful impact on the lives of children who have experienced abuse and neglect. Our group aims to achieve this by: *Benefits and Opportunities Provided by the Group:* 1. *Raising Awareness:* Through art, we will raise awareness about child protection issues, fostering understanding and empathy among our community. 2. *Fundraising:* Our primary goal is to generate funds to support NSPCC's programs, enabling them to provide essential services for vulnerable children. 3. *Creative Expression:* We provide a platform for artists of all skill levels to express themselves, fostering creativity and artistic growth. 4. *Community Engagement:* We aim to create a sense of unity within our community, bringing together individuals with a shared passion for art and child welfare. Additionally we specifically aim to increase student engagement with the charity amongst all Leeds universities to help establish a better sense of (charitable) community. *Development of Our Group:* We envision our group evolving in the following ways: 1. Expanding Our Reach: As our group grows, we intend to extend our influence to neighboring communities, amplifying our fundraising efforts. 2. Collaborations: We aim to collaborate with other student societies and local artists to broaden our artistic impact and reach. 3. Educational Initiatives: We plan to offer workshops, lectures, and art-related events that promote understanding of child protection issues. *Distinguishing Factors:* Our aims and objectives set us apart from other similar groups in the following ways: 1. *Exclusive Focus on NSPCC:* Our group is exclusively committed to supporting the NSPCC, ensuring all our efforts are channeled towards one cause. 2. *Art-Centric Approach:* While there are other charitable organizations, our unique approach harnesses the power of art as a fundraising tool and means of raising awareness. 3. *Student-Led:* As a student-led collective, we provide a platform for young artists to contribute to a critical cause, emphasizing the role of the youth in positive change.
