Formation Description
Doing a research degree can be incredibly lonely, and — through planned socials — this society would aim to combat that loneliness. I sent an email out to register interest and received a high volume of responses, with people volunteering to be either on committee or society members depending on their availability. We would provide a space for people to socialise, and be a central point for students to come to if they have a problem, particularly as people often do not know their School/Faculty Reps.
