The main reason for me to create this society is simply the love of food I have. Students would benefit from learning a new skill, also as the society would be all inclusive so anyone could join it whether if someone wants to learn cooking, Make new friends or enjoy different cuisines. It would offer something for everyone. Another benefit could be to help other societies like a lot of societies do social events and they do require food or refreshments so this could be fulfilled within LUU as those societies would not need to worry about ordering food from outside. Additionally, there would be cultural exchange as members would be able to experience different food varieties through the diverse culture we have on campus. The most important benefit I would say is socialising because when members would attend the workshops they would be given certain ingredients and groups would be formed to make them cook. this would allow them to do group work and make new friends. Another reason to start this society is that some students does not know how to cook and they get homesickness due to that, so this society would help them from day 1 to adjust in a new country and would provide the comfort they need through food.
