Formation Description
Opportunities can arise from students meeting each other from other year groups so that they are able to network and share resources. It allows students to widen their social circle and meet other people on the same course. It will also be an environment where students can de-stress post placement/lectures and enjoy social events. We also aim to provide teaching so that students can fill gaps within their knowledge.
Another positive is that Leeds Muslim Medics will be catered around our timetables, which a lot of other societies are unable to accommodate towards. Medic societies are available but the demand of our society revolves around the fact that it will be an alcohol-free space. Our application for this society is a re-formation which shows there is demand for it and we have had successful socials and teaching sessions in the past.
