Formation Description

The aim is to celebrate the Kannada culture and the language which has its heritage as one of the oldest Dravidian languages spoken even today and the festive season according to the Kannada culture is to start by the last week of march with The number of people we met coming from the state of Karnataka in the university of Leeds and recently as we hosted a holi celebration we planned for another festival coming in the end of this month which gave us the thought if their was a Kannada society and if we could have them to host this and then we realised there is no Kannada society which gave us the motivation to present this idea and also the society can be beneficial for the students with the products of Kannada cuisine and ready made food which can be made available and the events and screenings that we plan to host and also the social service ideas that we have planned which can be an opportunity for students to volunteer.
