Formation Description

We want to start this society because there is currently not a space or society for Thai people to connect and socialise within the University of Leeds. We feel that by having this society, people will benefit because they will be able to connect and create strong relationships to keep even until after finishing University. These relationships can benefit our community with future employment opportunities, language development and support them to assimilate into British lifestyle. We also want to start the society because it will provide the opportunities for Thai people to feel a sense of belonging by having events and socials. We also want to provide the opportunity for people of other cultures to learn about Thailand and our identity.
