Formation Description
As stated above, we wish to create Norsoc to create a community for Nordic students. By plugging the gap left by the dissolution of the previous Nordic Society, we will not only benefit international students moving to the UK, but will also allow students of nordic heritage who grew up in the UK to engage more actively in their culture and establish a community network.
As mentioned in the ‘ambitions’ sections, we wish to allow for a space to celebrate traditions from the area, but also to organise events and socialisation opportunities.
We believe this will create a stronger European community for international students moving to Leeds.
