Formation Description
We want to create a companionship system where volunteers will regularly visit isolated senior members of the community in pairs- they will also help with small, everyday tasks if needed.
We will also organise visits to local care/nursing homes, geriatric wards and assisted living communities.
We could also organise regular coffee/tea & toast mornings in the union for senior people to come and visit us if they can- to give them an extra environment to be stimulated by.
