Formation Description
As an Afghan student, I love my culture and take real pride in my heritage. Yet many students only know the war-torn stereotype and the extremist headlines. They’re uneducated about the country itself, its people, and its depth. I want to show the wider campus that Afghanistan is so much more than the image they’ve been fed. I want to show the beauty of my country's culture, history, diversity, resilience, and community. I want to build a society that brings Afghan students and non-students together to create a community and give us a clear presence. I want this society to create a real impact by raising money for Afghan communities that need support.
