Formation Description

We were inspired by Dr. Maki Fukuoka's people of colours network that is an existing group in the FAHACS school. By being a society under the University's union, we hope to expand upon Dr. Fukuoka's original group to reach out to more students within the University to create a greater network of students and generate a stronger community within FAHACS. Presently, Dr. Fukuoka's group is heavily focused on the academic side of networking, with our group we aim to conduct more social events with less of an emphasis on the academic.
