The idea of starting this society derives from the resources we can provide for students who are interested in business studies. We want to help students analyze real business cases, and experience real negotiation scenarios. At the same time, we founders can benefit from conducting high-quality networking activities. The resources we can offer are elaborated as follows:
1.The Leeds Business Negotiation Society will conduct systematic business negotiation training, and offer members business negotiation skills lectures, 1V1 coaching and simulation competitions within the team. Students who perform well in the training camp can represent the Leeds Negotiation Team in the serial UK Business Negotiation Competitions and receive official participation certificates to enrich their resumes.
2.Every fixed period, the society will hold lectures on business knowledge/skills, covering industry research, valuation modelling, case analysis, etc. The lecture aims to consolidate students' business literacy, expand their business horizons, and help students achieve better rankings in competitions.
3.The society will occasionally invite outstanding seniors to return to school to give lectures, share their job search experiences, and conduct 1V1 coffee chats with students. Club members can take this opportunity to network with seniors. At the same time, the Discussion Club will provide free entrepreneurial guidance and resource docking to help students with entrepreneurial ideas implement projects.
4. The society will launch various social activities, such as the entertainment Texas bureau, ball, alumni networking drinks and mentorship scheme... Here students will meet like-minded friends and enjoy afterschool lives.
