Join us for the first, last and only coastal Sunday Hike of the year on the 9th of March. It's also the club's last Sunday Hike of the term!

We will meet by 08:15 at the Parkinson Steps to take the coach to Robin Hood's Bay on the coast of the North York Moors. This picturesque fishing village is famous for its idyllic coastline and history of smuggling . What's the link with Robin Hood? No one really knows, sorry!

The coach will aim to depart Robin Hood's Bay at 16:30, if your group is back to the village early you'll have the opportunity to explore the local amenities (i.e. a pub or cafe).

As with all Sunday Hikes, we will split into 4 or 5 groups each with two volunteer leaders.

We want to make Sunday Hikes as easy as possible for you, but due to safety, you must have the following: walking boots with ankle support, rucksack, waterproofs, appropriate layers, sufficient water (at least 1 litre), and sufficient food (See the ‘Getting Outside’ FAQ section of our website at https://luuhc.com/faq#Getting-outside for some inspiration!) . If we can find someone to replace you from the waiting list, you’ll get a full refund. If not, unfortunately we will not be able to issue a refund. Sorry, you can’t swap tickets.
