Swing Dance History Talk and Social Dance

Group Swing Dance
Venue Room 5, Level 2, LUU
Starts Sun 18 Oct 2:00PM
End Sun 18 Oct 5:00PM

This Black History Month, we are exploring the roots of Swing Dance as part of African-American culture with a history talk by the wonderful Tina from Swing Dance Leeds. There will then be a social dance - a great chance to celebrate this heritage.

If you've never danced Swing before you're very welcome to come along - someone on the committee will be happy to show you the basics (unfortunately we won't be able to teach - but you're more than welcome to come along to one of our beginner's classes every Monday)

Sunday 18th October, 14:00-17:00
Room 5, LUU
History talk from Tina 14:15-15:15
Social dancing 15:15-16:45
