On Sunday 17th November 2024 the worlds of Rugby League and Rugby Union will come together and face off in a legends match to raise funds and awareness for motor neurone disease. Taking place at the home of the Leeds Rhinos, AMT Headingley Stadium, kick off is at 3pm. The match is a combination of League and Union rules and will be officiated by former professional referees Ben Thaler and Frank Murphy.

The 745 is a symbol of unity and tribute, with each number representing three Rugby icons in Rob Burrow (7), Doddie Weir (5) and Ed Slater (4); with three groups the Rob Burrow Discretionary Trust, 4ED and the My Name’5 Doddie Foundation the beneficiaries. Learn more about it here.

The match will involve legends of both sports including Kevin Sinfield, Jonny Wilkinson, Danny Cipriani, Danny McGuire, Tom Youngs and Adrian Morley; with the full line-ups to be announced soon.
