MSF & Mountain Rescue talk
Hello Wildlings!
We've got another exciting new event lined up for you all! This Thursday we will be teaming up with Leeds Friends of MSF to provide you with talks from two incredible speaks, one from MSF the other from Mountain Rescue who will be discussing their experience of delivering healthcare in extreme environments. So come meet us at Royal Park Pub at 7:30pm Thursday 23rd November.
Speakers
Marc Wilkinson: Has worked for MSF across projects in the Central African Republic & D.R Congo as a Pharmacy Coordinator. He will discuss his experiences in this role and how humanitarian medicine brings up new challenges such as stock shortages, supply difficulties and ongoing epidemics.
Dr Hazel Shorrock: From Smelt Hill Mountain Rescue Base will be discussing improvised dressing techniques utilised during Mountain Rescue
