22nd Oct teaching session

Group Wilderness Medicine
Venue -To be updated
Starts Thu 22 Oct 7:00PM

Hello!!

This will be our first teaching session of the year - the topic is yet to be decided but previous topics have included refreshers on A-Es, under-the-sea medicine, bandaging, and polar medicine.

There'll be a chance to get stuck in, regardless of your level (whether you're a non-medic, a medic fresher or a final year!).

Location will be confirmed closer to the time but it will be on the university campus.

Please note: you must be a member to join this teaching session.

In the first session of our teaching series, we will be covering the first section of an A-E assessment. This is the mainstay of assessing a critically unwell patient in the wilderness, BUT ALSO we use it day-in, day-our in hospitals. This session will be GREAT practice for OSCEs!
