📣 LUUCC’s Tees Tour Trip! 🏞️

📍 Location: River tees (Winston)

Get ready for an action-packed weekend in the beautiful Teesdale! This trip will involve kayaking at both begginer and progression levels, a possible hike, and lots of fun evening activities.

What to Expect:

Friday Evening:

• Depart together for the Tees and settle into winston village hall, our accommodation for the weekend.

Saturday:

• Daytime:
  • Possible Kayak trip or a Hike in the lovely teesdale area!
• Evening:
  • Drinks, fun games, and maybe even a ceilidh!

Sunday:

• Daytime:
  • Kayaking/ hike again!
• Afternoon/Evening
  • Head back to Leeds

More Information:

Accommodation: We will be staying in Winston Village Hall, this means you only need to bring a sleeping bag and mat. There will be basic toilets but no showers unfortunately. 

Food: The cost of your ticket includes a simple breakfast each morning, lunch and dinner on Saturday, as well as lunch on Sunday. Make sure to bring any additional snacks to keep you fueled throughout the trip.

Kit List:
Kayaking:
-Thermals top and bottom (not cotton): enough for 2 days and more than you think you will need
-Jumper to wear on water (not cotton)
-Wetsuit boots or trainers: these will get wet
-Towel
-Contact lenses or glasses strap (if you use glasses)
-Large shopping bag/ Ikea bag for wet kayaking kit
-Snacks

Camping:
-Camping Mat
-Sleeping Bag
-Torch
-Power Bank
-Off the water clothes: lots of warm clothes as we are outside all weekend
-Waterproof coat
-Water Bottle
-Food/ money
