AvSoc Airside Visit to East Midlands Airport

It's time for another airport visit, but this time we're going airside! And it's not just any airport, it's East Midlands Airport - the UK's busiest cargo-dedicated airport.

We will be leaving from the Parkinson Steps at 6pm on the day, with an expected arrival by coach of around 7.45pm, just in time for our tour from 8pm.

During our tour we will be taken around the airfield with a number of stops at the East and West cargo aprons to see the aircraft land, load/unload and depart. This is a great chance to see airport operations in place at their very best. Once the tour is complete, there is a possibility we can do some planespotting too before we leave on our coach back to Leeds.

The tour itself is free, however we will be hiring a coach to travel to and from the Airport, and therefore travel costs will be £30 each.
