The time has come, the first race weekend of the year. We will once again be making the journey across the Pennines for the annual Manchester Relays event.

The format is the same as usual this year with 3km legs (teams of 6 for the men, teams of 3 for the women) followed by a curry fuelled evening of beer racing, chanting and dancing.

The cost for the event last year was £30. We leave on the Saturday morning around 9AM and arrive back in Leeds around 3PM on the Sunday. Exact details to follow in the coming weeks.

It’s a great event, attendance is highly advised for all regardless of previous running experience.
