This week we will be making our first journey of the year down south into the Peak District!

We will meet by 08:15 at the Parkinson Steps to take the coach to Torside in the Peak District. This Derbyshire reservoir lies just north of the ‘Bleaklow Bomber’, the wreckage of a U.S. Air Force B29 plane that crashed on Bleaklow in 1948 in low visibility. 
 

The coach will aim to depart Torside at 16:30.

We want to make Sunday Hikes as easy as possible for you, but due to safety, you must have the following: walking boots with ankle support, rucksack, waterproofs, appropriate layers, sufficient water (at least 1 litre), and sufficient food (See the ‘Getting Outside’ FAQ section of our website at https://luuhc.com/faq#Getting-outside for some inspiration!) . If we can find someone to replace you from the waiting list, you’ll get a full refund. If not, unfortunately we will not be able to issue a refund. Sorry, you can’t swap tickets.
