My name is Brandon and I would love to be a part of the next year’s committee. Unfortunately due to business of other commitments (final year diss has dragged me down 😔) I’ve hardly been able to come to much events this semester, however I’m keen to help out next semester!

I honestly don’t mind any role, but it would great to meet new people and share our love for astronomy together. 💫

Hello everyone !!

My name is Margot and I'm an undergrad in astrophysics ✨
If you see me outside at night I will probably look at the sky and try to figure out which stars is in which constellation 🌌 I can spend a lot of time looking at meteor shower or try taking pictures of the sky !

I would love to inform other people about these events and share with everyone fun facts about space or new discoveries!!

So I hope to be able to communicate my live for space with everyone

I love looking up at the stars, and would greatly appreciate the opportunity to spread my passion to more people through the society.

I am applying for the role of Amateur Astronomy Officer because I have a strong interest in astronomy and enjoy sharing it with others. I am enthusiastic about keeping people informed about what is happening in the night sky and helping make astronomy accessible and engaging.

In this role, I would regularly update members on upcoming astronomical events such as meteor showers, comets, planetary oppositions, and other notable sky phenomena. I would create fun and informative posts to keep interest high and encourage participation. I would also keep the rest of the committee informed about important astronomical events and weather conditions so we can plan observation evenings at the best possible times.

I am organised, proactive, and happy to take initiative. I am also keen to be more involved where needed and to support the committee in making observation events enjoyable and successful for everyone.
