"The Secretary ensures PhilSoc runs smoothly, by completing room booking forms, signing off documents and filing risk assessments. The Secretary's secondary role is to help the President out with the management side of things, ensuring tasks get done and events and elections are running smoothly. I've really enjoyed this responsibility and have developed my problem solving skills. As Secretary, you need to be organised and versatile - lots of this role includes helping the committee out where I can, which can sometimes mean stepping up and filling the duties of other committee members.
It has been incredibly rewarding to see how much the society has flourished this year and I can't wait to see how far the new committee will take us! Good Luck!"
