Hi!!

For those who don’t know me,
I’m Jolyn, I used to be the social sec for handball last year and currently on exchange. I used to play for wing and dont know what a 6 metres line is.
I have honestly really missed handball this year and would love to be apart of the team again and help make people feel included.
My social sec days are over and just want to make sure everyone who plays handball/starting to play are all well looked after and have someone to talk to.
I am currently fundraising for Cancer research charity run this year and would love to organise more charity and fundraising events this year for the society.

Hi! Im Samara and Ill be running for Charity and Welfare sec.
Ever since I have joined handball society everyone has been so friendly and welcoming and I have felt so lucky to be a part of this little community it has formed.
As welfare sec I aim to ensure this environment is maintained, making sure I provide a friendly and familiar face for freshers to feel safe and included :). As I have mentioned on my poster I have had experience in school being a mental health ambassador and providing a safe space for younger peers to approach me with any concerns. This is something I aim to replicate during my time here next year.
In terms of charity sec, I aim to organise exciting fundraising events which will be a great opportunity to bring everyone together whilst also giving something back to the community. I am familiar with involving myself in events such as charity runs, as well as doing regular volunteer work within my local community. As my role as charity officer I aim to be active in replicating and encouraging this behaviour.

I have really loved my time at handball and I feel motivated that I can help make other peoples experience be just as incredible :)
