Women’s 1st Team Captain should:

- be responsible for the coaching of the club, with an emphasis on training the more experienced members of the club (e.g. Pod 1 and Pod 2).

- support the Development Captains in running training sessions for new players.

- select outdoors BUCS squads, indoor BUCS squads and squads for other non-BUCS events

- captain the 1st outdoor BUCS teams, including managing the necessary admin (e.g. registering, rostering, arranging fixtures, submitting scores)

- request transport and accommodation bookings from the Secretary with sufficient details and notice

The Captains collectively should:

1. Decide on overall training and coaching structure

2. Decide on on-pitch concepts (e.g. structures) to be played

3. Work together to deliver quality coaching to players of all abilities

4. Provide feedback to players

5. Support players to find development and playing opportunities outside of Leeds University Ultimate – e.g. local club teams, GB programme etc
