My Vision for Media Rep
More Collaboration: Break down the barriers between media societies and foster a more collaborative environment and encourage ways for each society to represent themselves within content produced from all media societies.
Bigger Media Presence: Amplify media coverage at all LUU events with coordination of society wide goals to ensure great content and a good time to network. As well as that the addition of advertising space for the media societies would be a great addition to increase our reach.
Easy Access to Resources: Secure funding for necessary equipment, upgrades and spaces.
Inclusive Growth: Ensure all societies get the support they need to thrive and be the best version of themselves.
Industry network and training sessions: have talks and workshops from professionals to further your media skills which will be open to all so those who are curious in other media societies can try it out.
Monthly media mixers: a simple meetup with all the media people is a great way to find friends in other societies as well as an excuse to spend more time with those you already know. With quizzes, bingo, and Leeds got talent event it’ll be a fun way to unwind with students with the same interest as you.
Media Mashup Month
A month-long event to unite all societies under a single theme: Leeds Through Our Lens.
Create various types of content such as podcasts, radio, TV, and publications.
Workshops and mixers to explore new mediums and strengthen collaboration.
Launch Party to celebrate the collaborative effort.

Why Vote for Me?
I’ve been part of media societies for three years, hosting radio shows, working on podcasts, and helping run events. As LSR’s Lead Technician and former Evening Editor, I know how to bring teams together and make things happen.
I’ve worked closely with the LUU team, acting as a bridge between media societies and the wider university. I’ve been on five committees, so I know how to manage budgets, plan events, and support others. I’m passionate about media and believe the more people involved, the better the content. I’ll push for better equipment, easier access to resources, and more support for every society.
