My name is Tom, and I’m a first-year student studying International History and Politics. I’ve been involved in musical theatre for around five years, so was excited to see the diverse range of performing arts societies active at Leeds.

I joined PAS after seeing it advertised at the freshers’ fair, and stayed due to the casual, inclusive nature of the society. I enjoy the sense of community and fulfilment that comes from working towards a show, and I would love to help out where I can with maintaining the society.

For years I have been fascinated with data and statistics, and have acquired a wealth of knowledge in the areas required to be an efficient and successful treasurer. I am strong with Excel and Flourish, and would be able to effectively manage (and maintain) a correct budget, allowing PAS to continue organising and performing high-quality shows without concerns about overspending.

You all know me. You know what I stand for. Fun. But isn’t that what societies are all about? Just look at my campaign poster. I mean wow. This is the level of commitment you can expect from me as a committee member. I am committed.

Plus I’m on a theatre and performance with business course so I’m the perfect fit. Just ask Katharine!!

In all seriousness please vote for me for treasurer. I’m basically already a committee member, let’s just make it official.
