Hello everyone, my name is Kate and I am excited to run for president of LUU Aviation Society!

As president of AvSoc, I will make aviation accessible to all who are interested, from current pilots to engineering enthusiasts. My aim is to lead my fellow committee members in creating a calendar full of events, both educational and social, in particular providing more opportunities for our members to go flying and gliding.

Creating a welcoming environment within the society is very important to me, and it is my goal to ensure that everyone feels comfortable in our society and can share their passion for aviation. AvSoc has helped to form new friendships, learn more about industry and enjoy aviation!

Studying Aviation Technology over the last two years has taught me the importance of teamwork within the industry, and I plan to invite current industry professionals to come and share their insight into working in aviation.

So put me in the Captain’s seat and I’ll take AvSoc soaring to new heights!
