Hi lovely ladies, I hope everyone is well, in fact better than well, I hope you're fantastic. I joined this society unsure of what to expect, thinking it would be a fun way to spend a Wednesday evening and little more.
As a geriatric fresher, I have been welcomed with open arms which I appreciate as doing a bark off at my first social armed with a sour blueberry lost Mary for ambience at nearly 21 years old, ought to be a humbling experience and yet, I felt emotionally supported, one might even say uplifted.

I would like to continue this warm, welcoming environment as media secretary!
A crucial part off this role is being an informative, responsive person on the other end of the phone for potential and current members of the society to come to and ask questions. I have plenty of expertise in responding to messages whether that is my tutor asking after my whereabouts, instagram DMs, or hinge matches, I shall always be there asap rocky with a thorough response.

As media secretary, ensuring an aesthetic yet informative instagram page is a must, my screen time is evident that I can dedicate many hours to the cause.

The fact that this society is full of gorgeous girls means it shan't be difficult to create an engaging and visually pleasing page. Many years of my life have been spent on Pinterest which has further broadened my understanding of aesthetics.

This society represents so much more than a bunch of cricketers, that being said, these girls are rather great at what they do. This society represents a girlhood that promotes involvement in sober socials, Wednesday nights, rollover, netball and cricket matches, spin classes, group runs etc. I couldn't be more grateful that I joined this fantastic society and I would absolutely love to capture this and show to other girls why it is such a wonderful community to be a part of, and hopefully contribute to the exciting growth of this society in the future.

Hello everyone!!
I hope you all are making the most of the last few remaining Wednesdays and are looking forward to our AGM - I know I am.
Over the past year, the club has exceeded every expectation I had when joining as a fresher in September. With Chloe and India’s enthusiasm from the first social, to every member's support and encouragement during training, I am beyond grateful to be a part of this incredible club. coming from secondary school, where women’s cricket was massively undersubscribed, I’m still overwhelmed by the hard work every committee member has put in to make this club a success, and I would be extremely grateful to be a part of it.

I would love to be next year's media secretary in order to showcase the achievements of the club as well as the outstanding talents of individual members. Both participating in matches, as well as my being partial to a Wednesday night (understatement), I feel I can provide a true reflection of the club on and off the pitch. Working with our future club and team captain, I’d like our social media to have a strong sense of achievement, providing match reports and commentaries throughout the year to reflect on how the club progresses and grows.

To assure you of my talents in this department, my screen time is terrifyingly high, however, my BeReal commitment is flawless, capturing every Wednesday and every win. I am also an avid content creator, as shown through my tour challenge performance and Tiktok - more shall be revealed at AGM for those who unfortunately missed this trip of a lifetime. 
On the subject, a strong priority of mine will be to promote events as life changing as tour as not only are these incredibly fun, but they are imperative in bringing the club closer by building a sense of trust, friendship and community. 

After finding my true calling in life during beer olympics, I realised the importance of socialising outside training, (and beer). I’d like to promote involvement in a variety of activities including socials, spin classes, rollover, tournaments, movie nights, and most importantly beach cricket (counting down the days until April 2025). 
I’d like to be a friendly line of contact, continuing to help others get involved, as well as upholding my embarrassingly fast response times. But most importantly, I’d like to capture all the incredible memories created in the following year, in order to look back on the best years of your life as part of UOLWCC!! 💚💚
