Hi i'm Amal! I am a 2nd-year Medical Sciences student! Societies are one of the most vital parts of the uni experience. Societies are an easy way to meet new people, take advantage of new experiences and make uni memories to look back on. By joining BioSoc you'll be able to do all this with your coursemates. I'll join your passion and friends together in a multitude of planned events from quiz nights, to excursions and industrial talks, while not forgetting the well-known Leeds city nights out. As your social sec, I will ensure you won't regret joining, I just hope the uni budget can keep up with my plans. Apologies to the next treasurer!

I’m Alise and I am a third year genetics student!
I take my studies seriously, but I believe that studies are just a small part of the whole university experience. University is the time to meet new people, make friends and have fun, and there is no better way to make good friends than within your faculty.
I am outgoing, fun and open-minded but also take my duties seriously when it comes to important tasks such as planing events and keeping overall good vibes within the society. I love a good night out, a nice brunch, or just a chill afternoon. An Otley run, brunch, mini-golf, carting, afternoon tea or game night - your wish is my command. My goal is to attract more people to the society and create a fun and welcoming atmosphere for everybody by creating unforgettable (or forgettable ;)) events.
