Hey, I’m Charlie Kearton, a 2nd year Computer Science student (I know, Computer Science in this society? How surprising), and I would like to be the Treasurer of Anisoc.

Now, you may be wondering what makes me qualified for the position of Treasurer? The first, and main, thing is that I am pretty good at maths (having scored an A* in both Maths and Further Maths back at A-Level) and have experience with budgeting from helping out with my family’s finances. With these skills, I believe I can use the society’s budget to help benefit you more than any other candidate (such as through funding for additional events or buying more manga for the society’s manga library).

I’m also on good terms with some members of the current committee and candidates running for other positions so I will be able to easily work together with them to effectively run the society. Also, I’m just an overall incredibly based person.

Finally, I promise you that I definitely won’t launder money through the society nor will I embezzle from the society for *my* own personal benefit.

So, I hope you’ll vote for me so I can make your and every other member’s time at Anisoc the best it could possibly be.
