Hey guys!!

I'm Edgar and started archery this year, the experience I have had shooting has been phenomenal, from making friends, to falling in love with the sport, I've grown a fond appreciation for everything to do with it, which makes me more than eager to give back to the society :)

However one of my favourite parts has been learning about the variety, maintenance and importance of equipment, and its something i want to keep on learning about.

Whilst i may not be the most experienced, or have the most in depth technical knowledge (yet!), i can promise that my enthusiasm for the sport will allow for me to learn quickly and commit to the betterment of the society.

Finally i believe my organisational skills, teamwork and openess will help me maintain and update the inventory, carry out regular checkups for equipment and make the process of using, maintaining and understanding both club kit and personal equipment a much less daunting task.

Hi! I’m Thomas, a first-year civil engineering student, and this year is my seventh year doing archery. I’m passionate about the sport and want to contribute more to the club, which is why I’m running for equipment secretary. As an engineering student, of course I’m interested in all sorts of mechanisms, so I think the role really fits me.

I’m a well-organised person and have a strange attraction to spreadsheets, so I’m confident I can keep the club’s equipment in good order. With my first-hand experience of spending 40 minutes trying to find the correct bow in the club's locker (and I am left-handed which makes it 10x harder), I understand how much of a difference good organisation can make.

I’ll also do my best to keep the equipment in good condition so that those who need to use the club's gear, especially beginners, can have a smooth and enjoyable experience as they get into the sport. It would be my pleasure to help ensure that everyone can get what they need to enjoy shooting.
