I would love to be Sponsorship Representative for the MSRC Society as it would give me the opportunity to play a key role in supporting and developing some of the biggest events in the medical school calendar, including Freshers’ Fair, talks and conferences, and the Worsley Awards.
I am particularly interested in building relationships with external organisations and securing sponsorships that enhance the quality and reach of these events. I would approach sponsors in a professional and proactive way, ensuring that partnerships are mutually beneficial and that sponsors feel valued and well-represented.

I am excited to apply for the Sponsorship Representative position on the Medical Students’ Representative Council. Having served as EDI Representative over the past year, I have gained valuable experience advocating for students and working closely with faculty to ensure student voices are heard. This role has strengthened my communication, organisation, and teamwork skills, which I am eager to bring to this position.
Through my time as EDI Rep, I have learned how to engage professionally with a range of stakeholders, listen to student concerns, and represent them effectively. I believe these skills translate well into building relationships with sponsors, where clear communication and mutual understanding are key. I am confident in my ability to approach organisations in a professional and approachable manner, and to develop partnerships that are beneficial for both students and sponsors.
I am particularly enthusiastic about supporting key MSRC events such as Freshers’ Fair, talks and conferences, and the Worsley Awards. I understand the importance of securing sponsorship to enhance these events while ensuring they remain inclusive and accessible to all students—something I am especially passionate about following my experience in EDI.
I would also work closely with the Vice President and Treasurer to explore creative and sustainable sponsorship opportunities for committee merchandise, ensuring we maximise value while maintaining strong professional relationships.
If elected, I will bring enthusiasm, reliability, and a strong commitment to representing student interests. I am motivated to secure meaningful sponsorships that support a vibrant, inclusive, and well-resourced MSRC.
