Hi i'm Tess and I’m putting myself forward for Treasurer of the Social Policy, Criminology and Sociology Society.

I’m someone who’s organised, reliable, and genuinely excited about making sure this society has the resources to do some great things this year—whether that’s interesting speaker events, useful workshops, or just fun socials where we can all hang out and get to know each other.

I’ve got previous experience handling budgets for student events, so I know how important it is to keep things clear, on track, and fair. If elected, I’ll make sure our funds are used in a way that benefits everyone in the society, and I’ll keep things transparent so you always know what’s going on behind the scenes.

I’m also really keen to work with the rest of the committee to make sure our events reflect what you want to see more of—whether that’s academic support, career insight, or just a good time with good people.
