Hi everyone!

My name is Marina and I am running for Social Media and Student Liaison Officer for PALS 24/25.
PALS has been so helpful to me for the past 3 years and I have had the opportunity to lead some of the teaching sessions last year so I wanted to get involved in the committee for the next academic year.
I have had previous experiences in other socieities as events manager and as year representative so I've managed the societies' social medias and maked sure we are engaging with students and also creating a space where they can give us suggestions and feedback and so together create resources that are well fitted and useful for them.
I am very hardworking and eager to create a student community where students feel well-supported (especially when in medicine, learning can be self-directed a long process). I love working in a team so I am excited to have this opportunity to work with other students.
Having previous and current experiences in societies and being a private tutor, I have gained good communication, organisation and problem-solving skills and I hope I can give something back to this society who has helped me and many other students succeed medical school.
